Top executive the keynote speaker at CEMA’s monthly meeting

Serge Buy, CEO of the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) since 2011, will be the guest speaker at the March 2, 2017, monthly meeting of the Canadian Ethnic Media Association.

The presentation, part of CEMA’s Speaker Series, will begin at 6:45 p.m. at Ryerson University’s Rogers Communication Centre, 80 Gould Street.

Mr. Buy is a government relations and public affairs executive. He has worked on Parliament Hill, and has led or advised numerous corporations, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations for more than 20 years.

Serge Buy is also a senior partner at Flagship Solutions, a public affairs firm based in Ottawa.

During his tenure at NACC, Mr. Buy has led the organization through a significant renewal. This has strengthened the profile and reputation of the organization and the sector, and has helped in securing greater recognition for career colleges as part of Canada’s post-secondary education system.
