Alison Loat, Co-founder, Executive Director of Samara, addressed CEMA members on Thursday, April 4, 2013.
Alison is the co-founder and executive director of Samara, an organization that improves political and civic engagement in Canada. Samara conducted Canada’s first-ever series of exit interviews with former Members of Parliament, and initiates other research and education programs that shine light on Canadian democracy and encourage Canadians’ participation in public life.
