The president of the Caviar Centre in Canada, Mark Omidi, will be keynote speaker at the March 5 monthly meeting of CEMA – the Canadian Ethnic Media Association.
Omidi has stepped in as the replacement for Sharifa Khan, President and CEO of Balmoral Multicultural Marketing. Khan was originally scheduled to address the organization, but had to withdraw due to a death in her family.
Omidi has pioneered the importation and distribution of caviar in Canada and has participated in many trade shows across the country.
Omidi, who has an master’s degree from Northrop University in California, was a senior marketing analyst, and sales and advertising manager, in Iran.
The Thursday, March 5, CEMA monthly meeting will be held at the OMNI/City Building, 33 Dundas Street East, starting at 6:45 pm.
