Speaking to a packed audience of CEMA members, on Friday June 5th Michael Ignatieff, leader of the Liberal opposition urged them to think of the year 2017 (Canada’s 150th anniversary) as the year in which Canadians recognize the direction in which this country is headed globally. Their reach as communicators to Canada’s diverse peoples is of utmost importance in disseminating information on the potential future of this country, he said.
We have good friend of CEMA Bill Andersen and his wife Donna to thank for this recording of the entire session, beginning with CEMA chair’s Madeline Ziniak welcoming the guest, his brief address and the lengthy and unstructured question and answer session in which all present were asked to speak their minds.
