Ontario Progressive Conservative Party leader Patrick Brown recently met with members of the Canadian Ethnic Media Association at Queen’s Park.
Brown, the leader of the official opposition, says that it is in the interest of governments to get their messages out to the people. And the ethnic media cannot be ignored, because it provides “a great medium” for a government to get its message out to diverse communities.
“It is in government’s self-interest to get the government’s message to the people,” Brown said.
He also said that boards and commissions must reflect the ethnic diversity of the province.
The Conservative Party leader added that his goal is to make Ontario the gold standard in dealing with the ethnic media.
