The theme of this year’s Asian Heritage Month is a celebration of Asian-Canadian culture. The opening ceremony of the month-long festival will be held on May 22 at the Sandra Faire and Ivan Fecan Theatre at York University, between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The opening day event is titled: “Pathways to Well-being in Our Times – The Contributions of Asian Wisdom Traditions.”

Sunday, June 7:
- Workshops on Japanese Tea Ceremony, Taoist Tai Chi and Sufi Dhikr, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Japanese Cultural Centre, 6 Garamond Court.
- Taoist Tai Chi and Sufi Dhikr at Aga Khan Museum,1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., 77 Wynford Drive.
Friday, June 12:
- Hindu Yoga & the Path of Indian Classical Music, 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at the Multi-Faith Centre, University of Toronto, 569 Spadina Ave.
