Addressing the Syrian situation at CEMA’s Speaker Series

The Syrian situation from a Canadian perspective will be addressed at the November 5 meeting of the Canadian Media Association.

The meeting is being held in the Trans Media Zone at Ryerson University’s Rogers Communications Centre, 80 Gould Street, starting at 6:45 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Mustafa Alio who was born in Latakia, Syria. He came to Canada in 2007 to further his university studies in business administration, marketing management and financial services. He is the co-founder and director of business development for Sama Education Services.

Mustafa Alio has volunteered and worked with the Syrian Solidarity Collective and the Canadians Syrians Democratic League.

He is also a volunteer with Lifeline Syria, the Syrian Film Festival and the Syrian expatriates organization.
