Another Milestone from CEMA Member: ‘Trio’ of Internet productions

This year marks the fifth anniversary of North America’s first South Asian Outlook, an independent e-Monthly launched in July 2001. In the last two years it was the recipient of Canada-wide awards in the Internet category, given by Canadian Ethnic Journalists’ and Writers’ Club (CEJWC), now re-named as Canadian Suresh JauraEthnic Media Association (CEMA).

Globalom Media, publisher of South Asian Outlook e-Monthly, following up on its launch of South Asian Outlook on Web TV, earlier this year, has gone ahead with South Asian Web TV, which will expand its coverage and feature other South Asian programmes. (more…)

CEMA member gets major Korean literary translation grant

CEMA member Dae Tong Huh, poet and publisher of non-profit publishing house, The Korean Canadian Literary Forum-21 Press, recently received an international translation grant for Korean Literature from the Daesan Foundation in Korea for a major translation project. (more…)
